Shirokuma ecofarm

Hello everyone,

I am a starting vegetable farmer who wants to start using bio digestion for processing vegetable wastes into useful recourses. My farm produces vegetables without chemicals and use of fossil fuels to absorb greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere and put it back in the soil. In my philosophy farming can be good for the ecology with the correct techniques, but with the wrong techniques it can be the most polluting.

With my first steps in biogas production I hope to process my farms vegetable waste and families kitchen waste and use the biogas and the bioslurry for making a hydroponic system work. If this is successful I am thinking to expand and pick up the kitchen and garden wastes from my vegetable customers. (I deliver 2 times per week vegetables at home). Sell the bioslurry as garden fertilizer and maybe also the gas. Big idea's where I now I will make my first steps in.

Thank you for this interesting website and please share your wisdom with me.

Hi Shirokuma,

thanks for joining Biogascentral. Your plans for the farm sound very interesting. I hope that you get to the point where you have a running biogas system.
